A TOAST TO GRAY COVERAGE
Featuring Joico Global Brand Ambassador, Larisa Love

When Joico Global Brand Ambassador, Larisa Love, wanted to put her client’s gray under cover AND deliver the toastiest, brunette-y copper around, she turned to YouthLock’s new NNWC shades to get the job done (beautifully, we might add). Check out her step-by-steps and formula, here:
First, let’s meet the new shades…

You can create the look and feel of timeless color with 8 – count ‘em, 8! – fab new NNWC and NNW shades that deliver Glowing Nudes and Toasty Copper tones. This balanced series for blondes and brunettes harnesses the power of LumiShine YouthLock’s collagen-enriched formula – a brilliant way to turn back the clock on gray.
Larisa’s pro tips for gray coverage…
Tip #1:
To keep your application brush clean, have an extra bowl on hand for when you set your brush down.
Tip #2:
Always start your application at the crown and work towards the nape. Hold the hair as you go, and keep the tension for a clean application without having to use clips.
Tip #3:
For client comfort and to make sure you have clean sections, always start at zone 2 at the top of the crown, and work your way up in diagonal sections to the very front, zone 1.
Tip #4:
Always use small partings to ensure full saturation.
Tip #5:
When working around the hairline, use a small color brush and a comb to help get all the little hairs and keep your application tidy.
Tip #6:
Cross-check your application in the opposite direction you applied the color.
