In order to understand why our bond-building Blonde Life products are so beautifully protective, let’s give you some (brief!) science behind the technology: Essentially, your hair is made up of miniscule chemical bonds, which exist to stabilize the protein chain that creates healthy, elastic, hydrated hair. Put those strands through the ringer – by, say, exposing them to lightening chemicals that lift color – and these bonds can break, causing damage, like split ends, frizz, dullness, and dryness.

The step-by-steps...
Step 1
Start at the front hairline for a high-impact hero piece, using a combination of baby lights, highlights, and bold lights with Formula 1.
Step 2
Continue highlighting toward the occipital bone on top of the head until you reach the curve of the occipital bone.
Step 3
Once you’ve reached level 10, rinse, shampoo, and prepare your Shadow and Gloss formulas.
Step 4
At the shampoo bowl, apply your Shadow Formula in a teardrop application to the regrowth to mid lengths.
Step 5
Apply your Gloss Formula from mids to ends.
Process for 10 minutes, rinse, shampoo, and condition with BlondeLife Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner.
Larisa’s pro tips…
Use the client’s temple as a “board” when foiling around the hairline for control and accuracy so the foils don’t slip.
For client comfort while processing, braid the hair outside of the foils away from the clients face.
When creating a bright hero piece in the front, use back-to-back “weave” partings.
