Create a Halloween Happy HourEmail out a drink list that inspires guests to mix up a potent potion or two if they want to imbibe. A few ideas:

  • Pumpkin Pie Martini (use vanilla vodka and pumpkin-spice syrup)
  • Hot spiced cider with whiskey

Offer a virtual haunted-house experienceTake your team on virtual tours of real-life locations with big-time creep factor. Some points of interest:

Host a costume and hairdo contestUrge attendees to show up in full (waist-up!) costume, and announce contest categories before the party – i.e., funniest, scariest, most glam, creative, etc. During your Zoom gathering, you can have guests cast votes using your video platform’s polling feature (or private chat); when votes are tallied, winners can receive virtual prizes, like online gift cards. A Sexy Rabbit-Of-A-Siren

Bring out your inner “Jessica” with an intensely styled ginger look that’s sexy as can be, from Joico Artistic Team, Leticia McKay. It starts with getting your hands a long, red wig (not Mermaid-long — but long nonetheless!). Then, follow these steps from Leticia….

  • Part hair deeply to the side
  • Create pin curls all over the head using your fingers, and secure in place with a clip. Allow to cool for extra staying power.
  • On the side with most hair, elevate the fringe area, apply Joico Design Works, and clip back to set a “swoop.”
  • Gently brush out curls and remove front clip.

Costume: An emerald-green, blingy gown from a vintage or thrift store.
