Today, she’s revealing her tricks for creating curls that stay put for days and days, while giving hair a holiday from heat. Here’s the routine…

1. First up, it’s time for bed…
After Day One of vacay, your curls are ready to snooze for the night. Apply Power Whip Whipped Foam to dry hair from the ears down. Allow to dry thoroughly.
2. And now for a pony…
Instead of leaving curls to fend for themselves all night, Olivia puts them into protection mode. “The real trick with this style-preserving pony lies in gathering all the hair at the very top of your head. That way, when you sleep, your pony isn’t in the way and you’re not crushing the curls,” explains Olivia. Simply gather hair into a very high pony, and gently wrap with a plastic, spiral holder at the base.
3. Wakey, wakey…

4. Brush your curls – but gently…
Remember, we’re trying to preserve those curls, so don’t go at them with gusto! Instead, brush curls gently, starting from the bottom and working your way up.
