I buy certified and what causes the product to melt in my experience, is keeping it in a hot shower 24/7. I take this (and basically my routine bottles, all in a shower kit) out after my routine.
My guess is that those little drops of water seep in every time we shower, and because it’s a pop top, humid steam is sucked in from the shower air after dispersing the product.
Shower kits are a life saver. Come cleaning time, room is prepped as well.
almost two years now I started using this wonderful product. I am a licensed cosmetologist so I do buy from the beauty store so I can’t speak for Ulta or other places that sell this product. But after reading some reviews on here who say their hair was left feeling dry might have needed a hydrating treatment, not a protein treatment like the reconstructor. My hair was a mess dry/brittle so I tackled those two symptoms with hydration and protein. I always follow protein treatment with a hydrating mask or hydrating conditioner because yes the protein treatment can dry you out ! It’s ment for strengthening. I started using once a week then to roughly once a month now and where my hair wouldn’t grow past a certain point it, now is so long ! Thanks to this product along with others. Thank you joico ?
