Jeannetta Walker-Rodgers, Joico Global Technical Director, is a hairstylist, colorist, and hair-extensions specialist with 20+ years of experience. Based in Chicago, Jeannetta is a Certified Master Colorist and Texture Expert; has been featured in industry magazines; nominated for some of the beauty industry’s most coveted awards; graced the main stages of Behind the Chair Shows, Hair Love Retreat, Texture Versus Race, Textured Hair Elevated, and much more.
When she is not performing major hair color transformations, Jeannetta is passionate about teaching hairstylists around the world how to be technically excellent in color formulation and technique, emphasizing healthy hair care and proper styling. “Jae” believes in paying it forward; helping hairdressers be the very best colorists they can be, AND feel confident working on all hair types and textures.
