Glam Curls With Joico Global Brand Ambassador, Larisa Love

1 ¾”-barrel curling iron
A wide-tooth comb
6 blinged-out bobby pins
GET READY FOR GORGEOUS
Step 1: Create a side part. On the side with the most bulk, divide and clip half the hair to the top of your head, so you’re working on small-ish, diagonal sections.
Step 2: Starting in the front with 2-inch sections, curl hair away from the face.
Pro tip: Hold the curl as it cools in your hand for a few seconds, then allow it to gently fall.
Step 3: Repeat this technique throughout the entire first side (see video for example).
Step 4: Undo crown clip and curl hair in same rear-facing direction.
Step 5: Repeat the same moves on the other side – once again curling hair towards the back of the head.
Step 6: Apply Joico Power Spray Fast-Dry Finishing Spray to entire head of curls.
Step 7: Using a wide-tooth comb, gently comb through curls from top to bottom to separate and loosen the pattern.
Step 8: Apply additional Power Spray Fast-Dry Finishing Spray to each section. Immediately hold the can (horizontally) against the curl shape. This becomes a shaping “mold” that helps set the curl pattern.
Step 9: Tuck hair on one side behind the ear, and insert bobby pins in an arched pattern for hold and interest. Bring hair on the other side to the front.
