Featuring Joico Guest Artist, Nathi Vega
When your brunette client wants her blonde pieces to pop, try this Natural Beige foilyage technique from Joico Guest Artist, Nathi Vega. It takes dimension to…another dimension!
“Natural Beige is now a big hair-color trend with clients who want to take their bronde pieces to blonde. It’s actually eclipsing those ashy-tone requests.” – Nathi Vega

Her brunette client wanted…
To maintain those “lived-in” highlights with a low-maintenance refresh, more dimension, and brighter pops of blonde.

How to get there…
LumiShine Demi Liquid Natural Beige (NB) Series

6NB / 6.072

7NB / 7.072

9NB / 9.072
Try this if…
Your client’s hair can lift past a level 8.
What Nathi did…
- Placed a few foils to maintain her existing blonde; and finished with a glaze to bring together the old and new blonde color.
- Hand-picked the previous weave pattern and applied lightener on the regrowth only.
- Tipped out a few babylights around the face. (Mix one scoop of lightener at a time, so the highlights lift evenly.)
- Bi-level layers create a cut that has both edge and movement.
- Created ribbons throughout the hair with foilyage (weave and tease), which helps blend and create “pop.”
