Who’s the perfect candidate?
“Fine-haired clients, level 6.5 and above.”
Rotate your techniques: To keep blondes healthy, Jill switches things up between partial highlights, full highlights, and this touch-of-light technique that gets clients to the next appointment with minimal foiling.
Why crème rises to the top: “For fine-haired clients, I like to use Blonde Life Crème Lightener – it still gives me nine levels of lift but has a super creamy consistency that’s perfect for this hair type.”
Keep the sectioning simple: When she’s doing this refresher technique, Jill uses the minimum number of foils needed to deliver the POW. Here, it’s six foils on each side at the hairline in front of the ear; five foils in the nape; and only three or four foils back-to-back in the mohawk.
