“A good, solid hairstyle should not need a lot of touch-ups on the wedding day. However, there are always a few must haves I recommend having on hand, just in case!” – Vanessa Drozda, Joico Brand Educator

Don’t leave for the wedding without…

Extra bobby pins: Essential if strands come loose while you’re dancing the night away. Make sure they match your hair color for camouflage.
A curling iron/flat iron combo: One tool –preferably travel size – can instantly create a quick wave if hair falls flat, or smooth frizz between events.
Humidity Blocker + Protective Finishing Spray: “This is great for hair that’s styled down or blown out – it will keep hair from frizzing and add shine,” says Vanessa.

Detangling brush: Especially important for long-haired brides. Vanessa likes the Wet Brush Original, or Olivia Garden OG Detangler.
Travel-size mirror: No brainer – so you can see the back of your head in the restroom.
Hair ties/elastics: In case the worst happens, and you need to gather strands into a last-minute pony or bun.
Dryer sheet: To tame static and flyaways – just rub it over the top of the head.
Power Spray Fast Dry Finishing Spray: No worries about hair falling…because this ultra-firm hold formula keeps style intact for a full 3 days.

A couple of clip-in hair extensions: Because you never know when you might need some faux volume.
An extra set of hands: “Always have a designated person to help remove the veil for the reception,” urges Vanessa. “When I place the veil on the bride, I have her select someone who will be assisting after I leave. I show them how to remove the pins; and the correct angle to pull so they don’t destroy the style. Some designated helpers even like to take videos of me demonstrating, so they don’t mess up the hair later.”
