“We were thrilled to be the hair-color sponsor of the Beauty Coach Destination Education. A captivated audience of 50 top hairdressers from across the country gathered to learn from the talented Nine Zero One team, who swooped in and taught extraordinary color techniques, as well as addressed some real salon scenarios. The Look-and-Learn session was packed full of tips and inspiration; and on Day 2 of the event, all of the stylists got the opportunity to try a hands-on workshop using our LumiShine and Blonde Life lines. It was exciting to see, after just a few hours of working with these color stars, they had all the tools and techniques they needed to take the learning right back to their own salons and apply them to everyday work. One of my favorite moments? Nine Zero One owners, Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri, shared their success stories and business-owner philosophies. It was so powerful and memorable!”

What’s an event without really awesome take-home gifts? Beauty Coach Destination Education didn’t disappoint, with attendee gifts that included everything from Joico LumiShine Hair color, Kate Somerville Skincare products to hair accessories and plenty of palm-adorned “kitsch.”
THE WINNER’S CIRCLE
When hairdresser Megan Coyne spotted our LumiShine 901 Contest eblast, it was game-on for this talented St. Louis artist, who promptly posted a photo of her work on Instagram and landed the ultimate prize: a coveted, all-expenses-paid spot to Destination Education. It was a big-time opportunity for Megan, who first fell in love with hair by watching her stylist/Grandma at work in the salon. Today, this deeply passionate hair artist specializes in Balayage and Color Contouring, hoping to eventually become an educator and help others with the same passion for success.
Attending Destination Education was the perfect start. As the weekend unfolded, Megan was already raving to us: “Beauty Coach, and Nine Zero One put together some amazing things this weekend. I’m blown away by all the knowledge, formulations, tips and tricks I’ve learned already. Can’t wait to see what’s in store the next few days!”
Not surprisingly, as the weekend progressed, there was no disappointing our lucky winner. “This was such an amazing experience…meeting new stylists, sharing our knowledge, and having fun while learning new techniques! I can’t wait to get to my clients and start doing all the new things I learned! I’ve only been home for 24 hours and was already recognized by someone who went on the Beauty Coach website.
