In a nutshell, it means that Joico has been verified as a company that doesn’t conduct, commission, pay for, or allow any testing on animals – in product ingredients, formulations, or finished products.
How do I know the products I’m buying are truly Animal Test-Free ?
You’ll see the “Animal Test-Free” logo (or the “PETA-Approved Global Animal Test Policy” logo for E.U.) on all our products. Brands given these coveted labels undergo the strictest verification process.
What about ingredients that are outsourced?
No worries. Joico’s main production plant, located in Geneva, NY, produces the majority of our retail and professional offerings; but we have peta vet suppliers of even our limited outsourced items, making certain…but even the limited outsourced items PETA vets our suppliers, making certain they attest to the same standards. As long as you’re purchasing Joico products from approved channels and vendors, you can rest assured the entire Joico supply chain is free of animal testing.
