Commitment-Free Bangs
With Joico Celebrity Artist, Jill Buck, of 901 Salon

It’s that snip-snip almost everyone regrets at some point in their life. (Check out your elementary-school photos for proof.) Cutting bangs can be a huge commitment; and unlike hair color, you’re stuck with them until they grow out. But Joico Celebrity Artist, Jill Buck, of LA’s Salon Nine Zero One – who loves the transformative power of a fringe — has a brilliant, clip-in solution that lets you transform for one day only. Using Halo Couture Bangs, Jill can easily pivot to this face-framing look, then remove them in seconds once she’s ready to go back to her usual MO. Halo, her favorite clip-ins are made with 100% Remy human hair, and coated with a protective keratin seal for a soft and silky feel. (And they come in 23 shades – even blended and dimensional looks – so it’s easy to find a match.)

The step-by-steps (for you or your stylist):
Wash and dry the hairpiece. (If necessary, your hairstylist can help trim the length – be sure to lay it flat for cutting and styling.)
Pull your own hair behind your ears, leaving out a small piece on either side of the face.
Center the Halo Bangs directly behind your hairline, and clip into place.
Blend the bangs by curling the sides back with pieces of your natural hair.
Apply Tint Shot to your root area (choosing from one of four shades that work best for your hair color). “This is a great way to blend the bangs with your natural hair,” explains Jill.
Spray Beach Shake into hair for additional texture and volume. “It delivers texture and grip that helps create perfect beach waves,” she says.
