I LOVE Joico products and have been using them for years. About a year ago I decided to stop straightening my hair and to let my natural curls be so I decided about a week ago to try this shampoo to help tame and manage them and their frizz.
While it did that job really well it left my hair feeling coated, no matter how long I rinsed for, and has resulted in my skin breaking out in areas my hair touches my face and neck.
This product just did not work for me (it may for someone else), and it CERTAINLY didn't work for my pocket book - big waste of a LOT of money for someone who is on a strict budget (on disability).
I swear by joico products. I am mixed with irish and african american and usually my hair is a frizzy mess and this shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair in perfect curls!!
Thank you so much!
I'm African American, with all natural hair. I've tried so many products to try and tame my hair and this is the only product that has left it moisturized and manageable.
This conditioner made my hair look messy and my hair felt tangled and thicker and waxier than normal. Idk why, but I was not impressed nor happy. It said on the bottle it was sulfate-free, but is it wax-free? Please fix this! This stuff was expensive and it's suppose to be salon-quality.
I have use this one time I am a African American and I have tried all kinds of hair products and I love the shampoo and the conditioner.
