Artist: Vivienne Mackinder

Every brilliant look starts with a light bulb moment. And that creative thinking is exactly what drives our newest global education concept, Salon Ideas, a celebration of styles that are universally wearable, inspired, and relevant.

Most courses teach a “look” or a series of looks meant to be replicated. But one size (or length or color) doesn’t fit all…especially in today’s culture of diversity. Salon Ideas strives to teach hairdressers at all levels of experience to look at each client with a clean slate, tapping into their inner artist and understanding how to adapt trends to the individual before them.

While learning the craft of interpretation and suitability, you’ll also be encouraged to value, develop, and define your own creative voice and unleash the artist within.

This exciting educational event will feature three brand-new, salon-friendly color, cut, and style looks designed by master hairdresser, Vivienne Mackinder and the Joico Global Artistic team: up-to-the-minute commercial techniques, designed to be interpreted, developed, and personalized by you. It’s the ultimate opportunity to discover the art of translation — a modern, customized style that fits into your client’s everyday life.

Calling all colorists at every level! Don’t miss this high-energy class that showcases the JoiColor System in action, and watch as a jackpot of talent unfold before your eyes…

Our main stage artists will bring LumiShine®, Vero K-PAK Color, and Color Intensity to life with hot, new techniques, formulas, and dramatic before + afters. It’s an event destined to be one of the most colorful educational presentations ever!
