Her accomplishments include the 2013 Emmys, features in various publications including Modern Salon, BehindTheChair.com and Estetica, and consumer magazines love her too, with features in Allure, Refinery29.com, Parents, Forbes.com and Byrdie.com. She’s also been CosmoProf Beauty’s Brand Ambassador, April of 2015 through mid-2018 (during which she opened her own salon!). 2018 was a pivotal year for Love as she was named a headliner for Joico Global Destination Education in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic where she imparted her coloring expertise and social media savvy to over 1,000 professional colleagues. Most recently Love won 2019 Professional Educator of the Year at the American Influencer Awards.

This shooting star has been at the top of her game, and she certainly has had a dazzling trail of star-dom dust on her way there and as her star continues to rise. After rising to the top of the industry in only 6 years ―not without hard work and 110% dedication to her craft― Love’s popularity on Instagram (@larisadoll) catapulted her into stardom in the professional world of hair and put her talent on the map amid an intense pool of creative artists. Graduating from Marinello Beauty School in 2010, early on she shared her time between three salons in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood California for a year. …But 2013 was a watershed year as she used the then burgeoning platform of Instagram to grow her clientele, which slowly but surely led her moves to newer, bigger, more modern studios, culminating in the momentous opening of Larisa Love Salon, January 2017 right here in L.A.

Since her initial rise, she’s been imparting her know-how to other young artists across the U.S. at large stage shows and around the world for Joico, and continues touring with “LxJ Tour” – a fantastic duo of young and fresh hair-talent with her esteemed colleague and fellow Larisa Love Salon hair-colorist Joshua Ladner…You could say she’s been conquering the world with “Joi” and “Love!”
