So as I'm reading the reviews this shampoo is for people that color their hair when you color the tends to dry out the hair so people can tell the difference of their when they use it on dry hair. So this stuff is amazing!
If you have virgin hair and if your hair healthy then don't use it it's not fur yiur hair. This shampoo is very concentrated. It's only for people that color treat and mechanically style their hair
If your hair is in need of moisture then this shampoo is perfect. Also, I love that Joico offers different shampoo options for each hair "season." This moisture recovery shampoo is perfect for the winter and if you have coarse hair. I actually find it to be very balancing.
i've tried Pureology hydrate shampoo and, at first, it was great but with repeated use Pureology becames too heavy. I can use Joico moisture recovery shampoo weekly because it's very balancing - it cleanses thoroughly and it provides ample moisture!
I've used Joico products previously, so I'm not a first time user. However, the moisture recovery shampoo and conditioner is absolutely awful. I have VERY healthy hair and always have but was recommended by my hair stylist to switch from Kenra back to Joico, so I did. At first I loved it, it smells good and the conditioner is so creamy and a little of it goes a long way.... However, after time has passed by I noticed that my hair was SO greasy and oily and never in my life have I had that problem.... I tried different things; shampoo only one night, shampoo & conditioner another night, back to only shampoo that night and my hair was still greasy every single time. I have very long hair and I hardly use any product so it's not like I'm using too much.
I messaged my hair stylist when I first started noticing it and she basically told me maybe it's just because my hair is so shiny, all this other bull crap..
So needless to say, I still like Joico's products... HOWEVER, I DO NOT recommend this product. I'm so upset that I've spent this much money on shampoo and conditioner to find out that I have to spend even more money to buy new shampoo and conditioner.
I tried the shampoo and conditioner two times. Both times my hair came out coated with something that made it look and feel oily. Guess my hair wasn't as damaged as I thought?
It may work for some or they wouldn't make it, but it's not for me.
It also stripped my hair of my highlights. Good thing I'm due to have them touched up.
I have purchased several Joico products and was always satisfied, until I used the Moisture Recovery Shampoo. I used it for a while (less than half bottle) when I began to notice that i was loosing a lot of hair I mentioned it to my husband who did not used this shampoo. About a week later my husband ran out of his shampoo and began to used my joico shampoo. After using it for a few days he tells me I began using your shampoo and I am experiencing hair loss (a problem he had never had before) its the shampoo that's making your hair fall. I stopped using for about 4 months and I have to say my fair has stopped falling. About a week ago I saw this shampoo just sitting there and wondered could it really be the shampoo that was responsible for my hair lost? I decided to give it another try and used it again. Two weeks later my scalp has began to to get really itchy and yes a lot of my hair is falling again. I know have no doubt that the shampoo is responsible for this. I'm trowing the remaining product away very unsatisfied with this product.
