I do not understand why there are sulfates in a shampoo for color treated hair. Sulfates are the number one thing that strips color out. This makes my hair feel healthier, but my color doesn't last nearly as long, so will no longer be using this
i would have given this shampoo 5 stars but is has SULFATES... why?! Why put sulfates in a shampoo that is designed to protect your hair color and repair your hair. Sulfates can strip the essential oils in your hair, it can become dried out and split. This shampoo was designed to do the very opposite. So why joico do you put sulfates in this shampoo or any of your shampoos?? Please take it out!
Love this stuff, perfect for those who lighten their hair. great 2 in 1 system.
I am confused which Joico product is better for color treated hair... I recently was at the store and saw both the red bottled Joico Color Endure and the gold bottled KPAK Color Therapy. The red bottled Color Endure mentions right on the front of the bottle that it is "SULFATE FREE" which i know is REALLY important for color treated hair, The gold bottled Joico KPAK didn't mention whether it was sulfate free or not... so to be safe I bought the Color Endure. Does kPAK have sulfates? Whats better??
I have been using this shampoo for about 1 year. I disagree with the prior comment "smells like an old lady perfume". The smell is light and pleasant. The main reason I stick with the Color KPak is the quality. I learned about this shampoo from YouTube. I have very (very, very) oily hair that has been permed and gets colored every 4-6 weeks like clockwork. Damaged and frizzy to say the least. This shampoo and conditioner makes my hair shinny, resilient, clean, and most of healthy looking like when I was a teenager. My deep brown color (over my grey hair) has little to no fading. Beyond impressed!
