How is Re:nu AGE DE FY different from other anti-aging hair care lines currently available?
Most of those hair care lines address Fiber Aging, which results from mechanical or environmental damage. Re:nu AGE DEFY addresses Chronological Aging, the physical changes hair undergoes as a person ages.
What makes these products unique?
The focus on replenishing lipids that are very similar in composition to hair’s own natural lipids. When and why does hair gray?
While hair can begin graying as early as our mid-20s, it primarily occurs in our 40s and 50s. Over time, pigmentproducing cells (melanocytes) become less active during the hair growth phase and eventually move out of the hair follicle, the growth area where pigmentation occurs. Without functional melanocytes in the hair follicle, new hair growth lacks pigment, resulting in non-pigmented or "gray" hair.
