What is Quadraion Technology?
QuadraIon Technology takes the benefits of negative Ions to the next level by combining them with Keratin Protein from K-PAK's Quadramine Complex. The Keratin used in Quadramine Complex has been infused into the dryer's nozzle guard.
What is a smart ion generator?
Ion generators are small electronic devices which cause an electron to be added to oxygen molecules and trace gasses. These electrons create negative ions that are then released from the source.
How do negative ions benefit hair?
Negative Ions break up large water molecules into micro sized molecules. These micro sized water molecules are now able to easily penetrate the hair shaft, hydrating the hair and decreasing dry time. Hair is left smooth, shiny and healthy looking.
How does the Keratin-infused nozzle work?
The keratin used in Joico's Quadramine Complex has been added to the nozzle coating. The transfer of the keratin works much the same way that ceramic or tourmaline coatings work. As the coating is heated and air flows across the nozzle the benefits are transferred to the hair.
How long will the coating last?
The nozzle coating and coil coating are of the highest quality and are intended to last for the life of the dryer.
What is EMF? Why is this important?
EMF or Electromagnetic Field is created when ever an electrical appliance is given power and is in use. All electronics create EMFs. The level depends on the voltage; the higher the voltage the higher the level of the Electromagnetic Field. High EMFs are considered to negatively affect human health. According to the World Health Organization the levels of EMF in most homes surveys have demonstrated that exposure to electromagnetic field levels in the living environment is extremely low.
